Our mission is to encourage, and facilitate broad-based community involvement in developing sustainable land use policies and strategies for the East Kootenay region.
We will encourage community involvement through a member focused land use coalition, governed by the Board of Directors, helped by volunteer technical specialists and advisors, and managed by a small responsive permanent staff.
We will encourage all residents of the East Kootenay region to become active and participating members in the affairs of the coalition. We will develop and implement policies, which make active community involvement easy and desirable.
